Complete the Hamilton County Broadband Survey to have your say!

Sent on behalf of Jeff Aluotto, Hamilton County Administrator:

The Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners is advancing a program designed to improve access to high-quality broadband communications for residents and businesses within the requirements and guidelines of the American Rescue Plan Act. This effort will identify any unserved and underserved communities and recommend options to address existing coverage and performance gaps in the County.

In support of this important program, we are seeking input from stakeholders representing various government, business, residential and community organizations, groups, and individuals to ensure this effort meets the expectations of the extended County community.

Now is the time to tell Hamilton County where to invest federal funds to improve broadband access now and for the future.

Hamilton County is requesting your assistance in sharing a countywide broadband survey with your network. The data collected will inform the County's immediate investment of $10 million in ARPA funding for local broadband improvements.

The pandemic highlighted the critical need for improved high-speed internet capacity and broadband accessibility for households and businesses. This critical survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and no individual responses from any individual, or organization, will be shared with any third party.
