Special Civil Service Meeting 11-29-2022

There will be a brief Special Civil Service Meeting on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 5:00pm. to discuss and issue with the Police Officer hiring process and possibly vote on certification of the eligibility list for the position of Police Officer.  Meeting will be held in the lower-level conference room of City Hall.  

Special Holiday Trash Collection Schedule for Week of Thanksgiving

The Service Department and Administrative Offices are closed on Thanksgiving day and the day after Thanksgiving.  There will be NO TRASH COLLECTION on THURSDAY or FRIDAY!  Collection next week is as follows:  Normal trash collection only on Monday and Tuesday; Recycling for ALL residents will be on Wednesday.  Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your holiday!

Village Charter Public Engagement Event

The Village will be hosting a public engagement event to discuss the proposed changes to the Village Charter on Saturday, November 19th at 3 pm in Council Chambers.  Mark Wendling, the consultant who conducted the Form of Government Analysis and other City Administrators/Managers will be making a presentation to the public regarding the recommended changes to the current charter.  There will also be a second event that will be held on Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00pm.  Both meeti...

Special Holiday Trash Collection Schedule for Veterans Day

City Hall and the Service Department will be closed on Friday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.  There will be NO trash collection on Friday of next week.  Trash collection for the week will be as follows:  Normal Thursday collection will be done on Wednesday.  Normal Friday collection will be done on Thursday.  Monday and Tuesday collections remain unchanged.  Thank you for your anticipated cooperation!
