Civil Service Exam for Police Department

A Civil Service examination will be given to establish an eligibility list for duty with
the St. Bernard Safety Department as Police Officer.

Exam will consist of three parts: Written, Assessment, and Oral Interview.

Any candidate can be exempt from completing the written exam and be automatically included on the list of candidates to be administered the assessment exam and oral interviews
 if they are OPOTA Certified with 2 years of full-time experience with no disciplinary action
resulting in suspension or loss of pay within the last 12 months.

WRITTEN EXAMINATION DATE: Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 9 AM
in the Lower Level/Teen Center of the St. Bernard Municipal Building 120 Washington Ave., St. Bernard, Ohio.

Applications will be accepted Mondays thru Fridays, 9AM – 5PM
beginning October 29, 2018 and ending November 9, 2018.

Applications will be available at City Hall, 110 Washington Ave. St. Bernard, OH.
Applications will not be given out prior to the October 29th.

A non-refundable application fee of $15.00 will be charged upon
return of your completed application to City Hall.
