The Service Department and Administration Building will be closed on Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving. The holiday waste collection schedule for the week of Thanksgiving will be as follows: Monday and Tuesday collections will remain on normal schedule. Wednesday collection will be RECYCLING ONLY for ALL households. There will be no collection on Thursday or Friday.

The Civil Service meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th has been postponed. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, November 21st at 7:00pm in the lower level conference room of City Hall.

There will be a meeting for all newly elected Council members at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 16th (prior to COW meeting) to discuss committee assignments. The meeting will take place in Council Chambers.

This week's collection schedule: Normal Thursday collection will take place on Wednesday. Normal Friday collection will take place on Thursday. Monday and Tuesday collections remain unchanged. Kidde United Technologies, in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled almost 38 million Kidde fire extinguishers
This recall involves two styles of Kidde fire extinguishers: plastic handle fire extinguishers and push-button Pindicator fire extinguishers.

The Administration Building will close at 12:00pm on Tuesday, November 7th for Election Day. Polls open at Municipal Building, 120 Washington Ave, from 6:30am-7:30pm. Please exercise your right to vote!
