There will be a $2.00 charge for lost or stolen passes.

Corporate: This pass allows an employee of a St. Bernard business to purchase a pass for the Aquatic Center.  A paycheck stub is required to purchase pass.

Sponsor:  This pass allows a resident of St. Bernard to "sponsor" a non-resident family member to purchase a pass to the Aquatic Center.  The sponsor must also purchase a pass for the year.  The resident can sponsor more than one family, but each family must purchase their own pass.

Note: A Non-resident must be accompanied by a resident.

Pool passes: Pool passes can be purchased at the Aquatic Center on May 10th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  There will be a rain date if necessary on May17th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Passes can only be purchased at the pool during regular hours.

Wading pools at Bertus Park and Tennis Lanes will be closed.  We encourage you to try the baby pool at the Aquatic Center for younger children. 

Family Swim Night: There will be two Family nights;  June 20th and July 18th   6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Adult Swim Night: There will be two Adult nights;  June 27th and July 25th 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.            

 

Summer Concerts at Vine Street Park

May 30th        Friday night celebrate the summer opener with "Richie and the Students" poolside at the
                        Aquatic Center from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm.  Bring your suits and your favorite beverage to
                        "chill" with the tunes.

July 4th        Friday night listen to “The Remains” at Ross Park from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Listen and celebrate
                      Independence Day with your friends and neighbors at the park as you stroll through the booths
                      of activities and delicious food beginning at 4 p.m..  Bring your blankets and pick your spot for the
                      Roger Bacon Band performance at 9:30p.m. and then the super fireworks display at 10:00p.m.


Aug. 15th    Friday night enjoy “Ooh La La and the Greasers” at Vine Street Park from 8:00 to 11:00p.m. This
                     band plays rock and roll from the 50’s and 60’s.  Stroll to the park with your chairs and beverages
                     where you can sit back, relax and have a good time!!!

 Girl's Softball    $20.00
Coach Pitch league for girls ages 8 and under and fast-pitch for girls ages 9 to 14.  The league will begin in May and conclude in July.  A coaches meeting will be held  in the Rec. Office. See sign-up "Sport Sign-up" for dates or signup during business hours at City Hall or by calling the Recreation Office at 641-3137 to schedule a time with one of the Directors.
 Knothole Baseball $20.00 Feb. 19th Cut off for Registration
St. Bernard is part of the Greater Cincinnati District 16 for boys ages 7-15.  Practices begin in March with games beginning in April and concluding in July.  A coaches meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22 See sign-up "Sport Sign-up" for dates or signup during business hours at City Hall or by calling the Recreation Office at 641-3137 to schedule a time with one of the Directors.
Tee Ball $6.00 To Be Announced
Children must be at least 5 yrs. old by July 1 of the current year and may not be 8 as of Sept. 1 of the current year.  Games are held on Mondays and Thursdays at Vine St. Park.  Opening day will be held on Thursday (to be announced).  Sign-up will be announced or can be done during regular business hours at City Hall or by calling the Recreation Office at 641-3137 to schedule a time with one of the Directors.
Lollipop Soccer $6.00  
The soccer sign up dates will be held on Saturday, June 7th and 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Aquatic Center.  Forms are also available at City Hall during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cut off date for sign ups will be June 28th.  This league plays at Ludlow Grove Park and is for children ages 3 to 5 years old.
Winton Valley S.A.Y. Soccer $30.00  
The soccer sign up dates will be held on Saturday, June 7th and 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Aquatic Center.  Forms are also available at City Hall from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cut off date for sign ups will be June 28th
Swim Lessons $10.00  
Open to age 3 and up. Swim lessons will be offered during the months of July and/or August.  Jamie Silva is again the instructor and will call you with the exact time for your child’s lessons.    We will be accepting sign-ups on Saturday, June 7th and 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Aquatic Center.  City Hall will also accept applications from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through the end of June.    
Swim Team
Starting June 2nd practices will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Aquatic Center from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.   For more information please call the Team Coordinator, Chrissy Lipp at 242-1420.            
Frisbee Golf    
9 Hole Course at Vine Street Park.  Scorecards are available at  both the Fitness and Aquatic Centers. 
Arts & Crafts
Faith Martin will host the Arts and Crafts program at Vine Street Park.  Classes start June 2nd on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and end August 8th.

Fitness Center

Fitness center passes are $10.00 per month fee for the use of the facility.  Monthly passes can be purchased at City Hall during business hours, or at the fitness center during hours of operation.  You will be issued a card with your name and expiration date that must be checked by the fitness center supervisor.  You may purchase the monthly passes in whatever increments you wish.  All hours of operation are CO-ED.

Senior Citizens Activities Ages 50 and Up

Residents 50 and up are invited to meet in the upper level of the municipal building on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. to enjoy activities and refreshments.  Arrive early for a game of cards in the Recreation lobby and then join in for coffee and tasty treats.  There are door prizes, split the pot and the last Wednesday of the month a delicious lunch is catered for $5.00.  This group enjoys a number of trips and special events throughout the year so all are welcome and also encouraged to bring their friends.  For more information call Betty Bischak at 641-3251.  

There is also a card club featuring Pinochle and 500 that meets on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12:00pm to 3:00PM in the Recreation area of the Municipal Building.

Umpires Always Needed

Umpire training classes are routinely conducting for individuals 14 years of age and older.  Umpires are utilized for T-Ball, Softball and Knothole.  Successful completion of Umpires course will be required.  Adults are also encouraged to participate in Umpire classes.  The next classes will be announced based on enrollment.
