Hamilton County Storm Water District.  

Did you ever wonder where storm water goes when it rains, or how populated areas impact the environment and water quality?  The Hamilton County Storm Water District hosts a site that encourages public involvement and participation.  Visit www.hamilton-co.org/stormwater/ to learn more.  Report anyone dumping harmful waste into storm sewers at their Hotline at 513-946-7000.  This water generally goes untreated and flows into local waterways.   

 
 

 

 

Hazardous Waste Collection Program.
March 1 - November 22, 2008

 

2008 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program  Did you know the average home has 60 - 100 pounds of hazardous waste stored in the basement, garage or under the sink.  Improper storage or disposal can cause accidental poisoning and environmental damage.  From March 1 - November 22, 2008 Hamilton County residents can drop off hazardous waste at two sites.  Be prepared to show proof of residency, such as a driver's license or utility bill.
